Scholarships

Case Western Reserve University has developed the following scholarship programs to help eligible students cover the cost of their Online MSSA.

Centennial Scholarship
The CWRU Online MSSA Scholarship Program was developed for exceptional students who want to make a positive influence on their community and others. Scholarships are available for applicants with plans to enroll in 7.5 hours per semester for 3 semesters or as a full-time online student. Full-time Online MSSA applicants who have demonstrated exceptional leadership capacity and experience in social work or related human services can be awarded a scholarship. All eligible applicants will be considered based on:

  • Undergraduate educational performance with a grade point average of at least 3.0
  • For continued eligibility for the scholarship students must be of good standing with a GPA of at least 3.0, adhere to the professional code of conduct as established by the CWRU MSSA program, and performing well in their Field Education
  • Interest and capability to pursue a rigorous academic program
  • Completion of all admission and field education requirements for the Online MSSA program

Dean’s Scholarship: NEW!
Beginning Spring 2018, a Dean’s Scholarship is available to a select number of highly qualified applicants based on scholastic merit, work history, letters of recommendation and other factors. All applicants whose application package is complete by the application deadline receive automatic consideration.
